For the past 18 yearsCal Council has maintained a strong and consistent voice for sound alcohol policy in California. Cal Council uses education, community organizing and public policy to reduce the problems associated with alcohol that impact our communities. Our legislative agendas have sought to protect prevention policy gains, increase local controls and reduce underage drinking.
Membership dues are our primary source of support. These resources are used to keep members informed about meetings, trainings and pending legislation. Cal Council’s members come from all across California: Northern, Southern, Central Coast and Central Valley.
This year we are offering these membership options:
Membership options
As a Cal Council member you will be part of a collective voice to reduce alcohol-related problems in California through public health policies. You will benefit from the wealth of information in legislative updates, quarterly meetings and the personal contacts in this significant network of individuals, all working in local and state venues.
Listed below and on the on-line membership form are the regular, student and sustaining member dues. Please note that you can receive discounts for joining at two or three-year options. This is an incentive to minimize the renewal work at both ends – for you as a member and for the organization as well.
$50 regular member; $85 / 2 years; $120 / 3 years
$15 Student / Limited income
$100 or more, sustaining member

Cal Council members can subscribe to an excellent bi-monthly newsletter that summarizes a variety of local and state information about alcohol policy by adding just $20 to their membership dues.
